Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Sauceit platform ("Sauceit", "we") operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
1. The service
Sauceit provides AI-powered analysis of video from cameras you own: hygiene/PPE compliance monitoring (WatchTower) and camera-based meal counting (Cafeteria Intelligence). Detections are produced by machine-learning models and are probabilistic: they support — but do not replace — human judgement, statutory food-safety compliance processes, or your own audits.
2. Your account and responsibilities
- You must provide accurate signup information and keep your credentials confidential.
- You confirm you are authorised to connect the cameras you connect, and that your use of CCTV (including any employee notification or signage obligations) complies with the laws that apply to your premises. Compliance with the laws applying at your premises is your responsibility, not Sauceit’s — any breach of such laws is attributable to you alone.
- You will not attempt to breach, probe or overload the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
3. Trial, subscription and payment
- New accounts start with a 7-day free trial with full functionality. At the end of the trial the account is locked until a subscription is activated; your configuration and data are retained.
- Subscriptions are billed per camera per month, plus GST. Payment is collected via our payment partner or by invoice.
- We may change prices with 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Cancellation and refunds
See the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Your data
Video frames, detections and analytics derived from your cameras belong to you. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may use aggregated, anonymised statistics (never identifiable footage) to improve our models and service.
6. Availability and support
We target high availability but the service is provided "as is" without a guaranteed uptime level during the pilot phase. We depend on your premises' network and camera uptime for correct operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes arising from acting or not acting on AI-generated detections.
8. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or remain unpaid 15 days past a due invoice, with notice. On termination we delete your video data per the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy and provide your reports data on request within 30 days.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
